+++ Campeones Metropolitano de Tango y Milonga - Campeones Mundial de Tango Salón - World Champions Tango Japan +++
Cristina begann ihre tänzerische Laufbahn im Alter von neun Jahren. Mit 18 entdeckte sie ihre Leidenschaft für Tango. Sie ist seither als Tänzerin und Choreografin tätig, und wirkte in verschiedenen Tangoshows mit. Daniel hat im Alter von 17 Jahre begonnen Tango zu erlernen. Zuvor schon studierte er in sehr frühem Alter Klavier, und absolvierte eine Ausbildung zum Klassischen Musiker. Seine Fähigkeiten als Tänzer wurden mehrfach durch Siege diverser Wettbewerbe belohnt.
Cristina und Daniel begannen im Jahr 2007 zusammenzuarbeiten. Seither haben sie an viele Tangoevents teilgenommen und dabei ihr Können in Shows und Workshops vorgeführt. 2008 entschieden sie, beim Campeonato Metropolitano in Buenos Aires teilzunehmen und bereitete sich dafür mit namhaften Tangomeistern und Freunden vor, u.a. Carlos & Rosa Perez, Jorge Dispari. Mit vollem Erfolg. Denn Cristina und Daniel gewannen im Jahr 2008 zusammen noch weitere Meisterschaften:
- Campeonato Mundial de Tango Salón (2008),
- Campeonato Metropolitano de Tango & Milonga de Buenos Aires (2008),
- World Tango Competition Japan Tango Salon (2008).
Daniel und Cristina leben in Buenos Aires, wo sie als Tänzer und Lehrer arbeiten und sowohl professionelle Tänzer als auch Anfänger betreuen.
Sie sind bekannt für Ihre sehr gut vorbereiteten Unterrichtseinheiten je nach Workshoplevel. Die Inhalte ihrer Klassen konzentrieren sich auf das Tanzen in der Milonga. Sie kommunizieren das sehr effektiv, behalten stets ihren Sinn für Humor und sind bei den Schülern wegen ihrer Aufgeschlossenheit und Aufmerksamheit beliebt.

Cristina started dancing at the age of 9. At 18, she discovered her passion for tango. Since that time she works as a dancer and choreographer, and she has performed in various tango shows.
Daniel started to learn tango at the age of 17. Before that, from a very early age he studied piano, and became a classical musician.
Cristina and Daniel began to collaborate in the year 2007. They have already participated in many tangoevents and showed their ability in shows and workshops. 2008 they decided to participate at the Tango Championship of Buenos Aires and prepared themselves for this competition together with notable friends and masters of Tango, among others Carlos & Rosa Perez, Jorge Dispari. With complete success. Cristina and Daniel won further championships together:
- Campeonato Mundial de Tango Salón (2008),
- Campeonato Metropolitano de Tango & Milonga de Buenos Aires (2008),
- World Tango Competition Japan Tango Salon (2008).
Daniel and Cristina live in Buenos Aires where they work as tango dancers and teachers, and teach professional dancers and beginners.
As teachers they are well-known for their well prepared lessons. The contents of their workshops focus on dancing in the milonga, including musicality and codes of the milonga. They communicate this very effectively, always with a appropriate humour, and they are popular for ther generous natur and their attention to their pupils.
"Cinco Esquinas" Quintet – Tango Argentino
Cinco Esquinas Quintet was formed in Argentina in 2005. Since then, their goal has been achieving maximum performance quality, understanding tango not only as a dancing genre, but also one to be heard. Hence, the arrangements and compositions are thought based on the musical and the brilliancy of the whole group as well as of each performer. The repertory includes a diversity of styles (including: Alfredo Gobbi, Horacio Salgán and Astor Piazzolla).
The Quintet has performed in many milongas of Buenos Aires City and in the big cities of Argentina, as well as in theatres and auditoriums; and due to their ample repertory, they have achieved the recognition of the public in general, both listeners and dancers. Among other places, they have performed in the Provinces of Santa Cruz, Tucumán, Formosa, Misiones, Chaco and in inner cities of Province of Buenos Aires, performing in Milongas and Tango Festivals. They have shared the stage with figures like Raúl Lavié, María Graña, Guillermo Fernández, Ariel Ardit, Andrés Lisnetzky, among other well-known interpreters of tango. Apart from that, they have played in Buenos Aires main auditoriums: Sanata Bar, Catedral del Tango, Casa de la Cultura de de Buenos Aires and Torquato Tasso Center, among others. They’ve participated on TV shows ("Por Siempre Tango") and on radio programs ("2 x Guaita" and "Zapatitos de Raso", both of them on the "La 2 x 4" Station, FM 92.7, the tango station of Buenos Aires City, http://www.la2x4.gov.ar ). Recently they have performed in the "Feria del Libro 2011" (Book Fair 2011) in Buenos Aires City.
This year, they´ve got scheduled performances at various points of Argentina and bordering countries (Musical September in Tucumán (Argentina), October Tango Festival in Misiones (Argentina), "Festival de La Paz" (Bolivia) on next October and Tango Gala in Asunción (Paraguay) on next November. Finally, on December 2011, the Quintet will tour Europe with performances in Vienna, Munich, Geneve, Paris, Barcelona and Madrid.
Additionally, they are recording their first CD, having already a DVD recorded live with different performances between 2008 and 2010. The members of Cinco Esquinas Quintet are Andrés Rosconi (Piano and Arrangements), Sebastián Agüero (Bandoneon), Pablo Suárez (Guitar), Sebastián Mendizábal (Violin) and Marcelo Urban (Contrabass).
Casino Zögernitz
Im Oberdöbling des 18. Jahrhunderts wurden zahlreiche Sommerresidenzen für den Adel und das gehobene Bürgertum errichtet und inmitten ließ ein Wiener Bürger namens Ferdinand Zögernitz anno 1837 eine Residenz im Biedermeierstil auf ehemaligem kaiserlichen Besitz erbauen. Das alte Casino Zögernitz wurde am 21. Juni des Jahres 1837 eröffnet und avancierte fortan mit seinem "reich dekorierten Saal“ und wunderschönem Garten zum beliebten Treffpunkt der besten Wiener Gesellschaft.
Das Herzstück der Residenz Zögernitz ist der einzige in Wien noch bestehende Straußsaal im Biedermeierstil mit seiner Bühne und der Galerie und dem anschliessenden Oktogon. Dieser elegante kürzlich komplett renovierte Festsaal bietet den Rahmen des Tangoball 2011.
